Stuart has over 25 years of experience in aviation, leading and managing airlines during critical phases. He has played a key role in launching and establishing new airlines, achieving impressive results in leading operations. He has in-depth knowledge of both LCC and legacy carrier operations, with experience in network scheduling, fleet management, and crew planning.
Stuart also runs his own consulting company, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to share his expertise. His experience allows him to support airlines of various sizes and business models. With his leadership skills, operational expertise, and strategic vision, Stuart is a valuable asset to the aviation industry.
Shireen is a finance leader with over 25 years of experience across diverse industries. She excels in strategic leadership, having built the financial foundation for multiple start-up airlines. Her expertise spans financial modelling, budgeting, and cost optimisation, achieving significant savings across various organizations. Shireen fosters strong relationships with stakeholders and has a proven track record in business transformation.
Shireen’s career includes leadership roles in established companies including the AirAsia Group and TUNE Hotels, along with her recent experience as CFO at MYAirline. This demonstrates her ability to thrive in both large corporations and fast-paced startups.
Mark is an experienced pilot and a highly qualified aviation professional specializing in compliance, safety management systems and airline startups. Mark is a Boeing 737-800 and MAX Type Rated Instructor and Examiner with base training approval, as well as being a qualified auditor and CRM instructor.
Wan Harris is a highly experienced pilot with over 30 years in aviation. His previous role at Etihad Airways involved training and qualifying pilots on complex Boeing aircraft, demonstrating his in-depth knowledge and leadership.
Wan’s prior experience includes flying various Airbus and Boeing models, showcasing his adaptability. Throughout his career, he has held both instructor and examiner positions, highlighting his strong communication and instructional skills. Wan’s ability to manage complex projects was evident in his role as Chief Pilot, Projects, at MYAirline. Here, he led key initiatives for growth, including inducting widebody aircraft, establishing charter operations, and aircraft leasing negotiations.
Pamela is MCIPD qualified – Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Pam joined from CargoLogicAir where she was also Head of HR. Before CargoLogic, Pam was Deputy HR Director at Vogla-Dnepr Group, a UK-based cargo airline, where she spent 11 years working with Human Resources.

Captain Zahirudi previously held the position of Chief Pilot Operations at SKS Airways, leveraging his extensive experience to ensure the airline’s safe and efficient operations at all times.
Linda is an experienced marketing and aviation professional with over 17 years of experience driving brand awareness, marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships across various industries.
She brings a unique blend of commercial acumen, honed within the aviation industry, as well as strong communication skills, which she has developed in various marketing and public relations roles.
In her previous role at MYAirline, Linda’s commercial skills were key to negotiating aircraft leases with lessors, OEMs, and other major business partners. She also managed aircraft insurance policies and liaised directly with insurers and reinsurers. Throughout her career, Linda has held commercial positions at AirAsia, Volvo Trucks, Sony Malaysia, and 7-Eleven Sdn Bhd.
Ross has more than 20 years’ experience in airline operations. Ross joined Ascend Airways after setting up Flybe’s operations control team from scratch in 2021. Ross previously acted as Nominated Person Ground Operations at UK charter operator RVL Aviation and prior to that worked for Titan Airways and TUI for 8 and 12 years respectively, in supervisory and duty manager roles.
Tony is an experienced aviation executive having joined Ascend from AirTanker, a consortium of leading aerospace and defence specialists, providing services to governments and airlines, where he was Director of Civil Business and part of the Executive Committee. Prior to AirTanker, Tony spent 14 years with Atlas Air, a leading ACMI airline, as VP of Sales & Marketing.
With over 15 years of experience as an engineer in aviation, Helmy has a strong understanding of regulations and a proven track record of leading teams to achieve operational excellence. In his previous role at MYAirline, he played a pivotal role in setting up the airline and obtaining regulatory approvals.
Helmy’s career path began as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Malaysia Airlines. He has progressively built upon his technical expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering and a B1.1 CAAM License. His educational background and extensive hands-on experience make him a well-rounded aviation professional with a deep understanding of both technical and regulatory aspects of the industry.
Neeru worked at British Airways for more than 30 years in roles which included leading cabin training, cabin service and performance management. Prior to joining Ascend Neeru led cabin safety and management for start-up carrier Hans Airways.
Yasmine has worked in the aviation industry for 25 years and spent the past 10 years as Head of Training. -Yasmine has commercial airline and private jet experience having worked for airlines and managing service on private jets for ultra-high net-worth individuals.
